Welcome to Coastal Wonders!

Coastal Wonders is a non-profit educational service dedicated to providing rewarding environmental learning experiences for regional school groups. From Estuary Studies to Happenin' Herps, Team Initiatives to Night Mysteries, at Coastal Wonders, students engage in exploration and discovery to learn about the wonders of the coast and humanity's important connections to the earth.

This earth stewardship program is the newest offering of Beckwith Camp and Conference Center, a facility owned and operated by the Episcopal Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast. Building upon a strong foundation of over three decades of experience with youth, Beckwith takes a leardership role in academic, character, and environmental education to proudly announce this premier residential learning adventure!

Located on 65 acres on beautiful Weeks Bay, Coastal Wonders invites public and private schools to bring their students into the outdoor classroom where the ceiling is the sky and the floor a vast living world inviting exploration. Our school programming runs September through May each school year. We offer 1-day through 5-day learning adventures and a premier 3 day / 2 night program. Our classes are correlated to state course of study standards and reinforce classroom learning objectives. Small field group sizes of 10-15 students, help to ensure a rewarding experience for all. Come enjoy our comfortable housing, delicious food and engaging interdisciplinary day and evening classes for a learning adventure you're sure to remember!

When you see our serene waterfront location and experience our warm and welcoming facilites, services, and programs, you will understand why so many people have come to call Beckwith their home away from home.  And when you are looking for a location for your next retreat or conference, Beckwith has 30 retreat-style hotel rooms, 8 dormitory-style cabins, a full service dining hall, and numerous meeting facilities to meet you needs. To learn more about Beckwith's other popular program offerings and inviting conference center, visit Beckwith on the web at www.BeckwithCCC.org.
